The Sanitizers and disinfectants that Alamo Sanitizers use are regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
(By law, a chemical product cannot be labeled as a sanitizer or a disinfectant unless and until it is EPA certified.)
Cleaning is the removal of dirt by physical or chemical means while sanitization is the process of reducing or getting rid of microbes on surfaces to make them hygienic. Sanitizing touchable surfaces kills the germs and microorganisms that soap and water cannot.
We use products that eliminate up to 99.99% of Bacteria. The EPA does not test or regulate cleaners for effectiveness. That said, there are definitely different qualities and strengths of cleaners, so buyer beware!
